BiminiRing© Game Set-up Instructions

Thank you for purchasing the BiminiRing Toss game. Due to the nature of the game, a support or ceiling above is required. The area you set up in will determine the distance from the hook and the length of string. For ideal situations, the plaque should be hung with the hook measuring 5 feet from the ground and when the ring is hanging straight down it should measure approximately 18 inches from the ground. These of course will vary based on conditions. If possible, you should also allow at least 3 feet on each side of the plaque. Again, these measurements are for reference only. The will vary based on your set up area. See set up dimensions.

Use the screws and anchors supplied and adjust the screws accordingly to achieve a pinch fit with the backboard. Use two #10 "Tapcon" flathead screws for attaching to concrete. The height of the ceiling or fixed object above along with the height of the hook will determine the length of the sting and the distance from the wall.

When the ring is placed over the hook, the string should be taught but loose enough for the ring to just clear the hook.

Attach the eyebolt to the ceiling or above fixed object and attach the swivel end of the string to it.

Then wrap the string around the ring two or three times and attach it to the hook and pull taught not tight. Tie a knot to secure the string to the ring. It is best to be loose not tight so knots can be tied in the string to make minor adjustments in tightening the string.

BiminiRing© Set-up Dimensions

This is a typical setup view using an 8 foot ceiling. The distance from the wall to the point in the ceiling where the string is attached will vary based on your ceiling height. By using as standards, 5 feet for the hook height on the wall and having the ring hang 18" from the floor, you will be able to determine the location on the ceiling. For extra high ceilings, an extension can be used to bring the swivel point down to 8 - 9 feet.

Congratulations! You are now ready to play a part of history.
